WARRIOR NUN Creator Revealed the Canceled Netflix Show Is Coming Back for Season 3!
The canceled Netflix series Warrior Nun is being revived for Season 3! The first two seasons of the fantasy action series was really cool and fun to watch, and I’m surprised that Netflix axed it. Series creator Simon Barry has now confirmed that the comic book adaptation is coming back!
Barry announced the news on Twitter saying that the #SaveWarriorNun campaign was successful, saying: “Today I’m happy to officially report that because of your combined voices, passion and amazing efforts — #WarriorNun will return and is going to be more EPIC than you could imagine. More details to come! SOON! Thank-you!!”
As of right now, it’s unknown which network or streaming service has picked up Warrior Nun for Season 3, but this is great news! I’m happy to hear that we’re going to get to see this story continue, especially with that cliffhanger ending of Season 2.
The series is based on the manga-style comic series of the same name that was created by Ben Dunn. The story is set in the middle of an ancient war between good and evil, and it follows “a young girl wakes up in a morgue with inexplicable powers. Her search for answers brings her to The Order of the Cruciform Sword, a secret society of warrior nuns sworn to protect the world from evil. While juggling her responsibilities as the chosen one with the normal obstacles of a teenage girl, this mysterious fantasy drama is full of mystery, action, adventure, and teenage romance, proving our main character might fight in the name of good, but she’s no angel.”
Are you excited to hear that Warrior Nun is coming back for another season!?
