Watch: 8-Bit Cinema Tackles The Original STAR WARS Trilogy

Star Wars: The Force Awakens has taken the world by storm, and I'm sure most of you have seen it multiple times by now. I've been celebrating the holidays with family over the past week so I missed this when it came out, but I just noticed that CineFix has released a new 8-Bit Cinema video that centers on the original Star Wars trilogy, just in time for the new film's release.

These are always fun to watch, but this one is taken to the next level because of the retro reimagining of John Williams' iconic score throughout. There's the main theme, the cantina band song, the Imperial March, and more — and as the video progresses, the visual style changes to mimic different video game styles as well. Check it out below, and let us know what you think!

For the Final Episode of 8-Bit Cinema CineFix presents Star Wars Original Trilogy retold via old-school 8-bit (and a little 16 bit ;) game tech. No quarters or controllers required!
