Watch a 40 Minute Special for David Lynch's TWIN PEAKS Revival and Check Out Some New Photos

We're only about two months away before the premiere of David Lynch's Twin Peaks revival premieres on Showtime. If you're as excited about the return of this crazy fantastic series as I am, we've got some great stuff for you to check out today!

Thanks to EW, there's a 40 minute special that you can watch here that features the cast and crew talking about returning to Twin Peaks and the road leading to its development. Lynch describes the film as being "a feature film in 18 parts" and Showtime’s president David Nevins adds:

"Twin Peaks is a cosmology. What I think is satisfying about the new version is that it’s a deeper exploration of that stuff. What is the Red Room? How does the Red Room work? Where is Agent Cooper? Can he make it back?”

Obviously, none of those questions are answered in the video, but it's fun to see all these actors back in the roles they played in the '90s. It's more of a nostalgic journey through the history of the series, and I can't wait for its return!

Below you'll find a preview of the 40 minute special along with three EW Magazine covers and six photos, one of which features David Duchovny back in the role of DEA agent Denise Bryson. There's also a featurette called "The Women of Twin Peaks."

The 18 hour limited series will debut with a two-hour premiere on Sunday, May 21 at 9pm. Immediately following the premiere, Showtime subscribers will have access to the third and fourth hours, exclusively across the Showtime streaming services.

In its second week, Twin Peaks will air the third and fourth hours back-to-back on the linear network, starting at 9 p.m. ET/PT, followed by one hour episodes in subsequent weeks.

Watch this mashup of the female characters of Twin Peaks including Shelly Johnson (Mädchen Amick), Audrey Horne (Sherilyn Fenn), Norma Jennings (Peggy Lipton), Donna Hayward (Lara Flynn Boyle) and more. Catch-up on Twin Peaks every Sunday at 7 PM ET/PT on SHO 2.
