Watch a Bear Take a Stroll Around the Lobby of The Stanley Hotel, which was the Inspiration for THE SHINING

A bear happened to wander into the lobby of the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Co. and take a casual stroll around it. The whole thing was caught on video by one of the employees who worked there. They managed to get the bear out, but that must've been quite an experience!

Just in case you didn't know, the Stanley Hotel is a hotbed of paranormal activity and it served as the inspiration behind Stephen King's classic horror novel The Shining after the author stayed there.

I imagine it's not common for big bears to enter the hotel lobby of the Stanley Hotel. Maybe it was lured there by a ghost! Is that a thing?

For the first time ever, a bear tried to check into the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park last night. The hotel sees all sorts of wildlife stop by - it is basically on the doorstep of Rocky Mountain National Park - but never really inside it.
