Rescue & Restore has shared a cool video featuring a worn out and beat up vintage 1978 Star Wars X-Wing toy being restored to its perfect original condition.
I restored Luke Skywalker’s 1978 X-Wing! This was a really fun restoration project. I used a method called retrobright to bleach the plastic and remove the yellowing. It was really satisfying to bring this one back to life. Seeing these in the Mandalorian was awesome as well.
This is an original Star Wars toy that I actually never owned. I always wanted one! But this particular version of the X-Wing came out the year I was born. Anyway, I loved how this thing turned out!
