Watch a Cool INFINITY WAR VFX Breakdown Reel For The Battle on Ebony Maw's Ship

A new VFX reel has surfaced for Avengers: Infinity War that gives us a cool breakdown of all the effects work that was done to bring one of the key fight sequences in the film to life. That scene includes Iron Man and Spider-Man saving Doctor Strange from Ebony Maw on his ship.

I love watching these videos and seeing all the digital layers being peeled back to show us the step-by-step process of creating a scene like this. There's a ton of hard work that goes into this stuff and this sequence was created by the digital effects company Cinesite.

There's a monumental amount of work that goes into creating a film like infinity war, and this is just a little taste of the kind of post-production work that went into bringing this film to life.

Led by VFX supervisor Andrew Morley, Cinesite's London studio was responsible for delivering some of the film's most thematically important and technically difficult CG shots and characters, including Ebony Maw's torture of Doctor Strange, the Iron Spider suit and the Avengers' first encounter with the Guardians.
