Watch Adam Savage Build His TOTORO Costume That He Wore at NYCC

As you know, Adam Savage loves to show up at conventions incognito in costume. Earlier this month he attended NYCC all decked out as the big lovable Totoro. He has since released a "One Day Build" video in which he shows how he built the costume.

Adam shows us how he designed the costume to be lightweight and collapsible, how he formed Totoro's iconic shape, and the little details that brought the huggable character to life!

I love watching Savage work his magic! I also included a video of him walking around the NYCC in his costume.

Here's how Adam Savage built his amazing Totoro cosplay that he wore at New York Comic Con! In this One Day Build, Adam shows us how he designed the costume to be lightweight and collapsible, how he formed Totoro's iconic shape, and the little details that brought the huggable character to life!

Adam Savage walks through New York Comic Con in his newest cosplay: the titular forest spirit from the film My Neighbor Totoro! In portraying this friendly and fuzzy character, Adam strolls through the convention floor receiving hugs and warming hearts. Plus, check out Adam's perspective from a camera mounted on the costume!
