Watch an A.I. Spider-Man Learn How To Swing Through a City

Here’s an interesting video from b2studios, who created a basic A.I. version of Spider-Man to see if he could learn how to swing through the city. The challenge was simple, guide Spider-Man to swing between parallel buildings without hitting the ground. Through several hours of trial and error, the A.I. eventually learned to swing like the superhero.

It’s pretty amusing to watch the A.I. fail over and over again in the beginning, but when it starts to get comfortable, the A.I. Spidey starts trying out flips and stuff. After 771 sessions and 11 hours of training, the A.I. Spider-Man is doing great and and uses one arm to swing the entire time at speeds up to 150 km/h.
