Watch an Interesting Conversation with Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, Greta Gerwig, Yorgos Lanthimos and Alexander Payne
Directors Guild of America brought together the nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Theatrical Feature Film to have a conversation about filmmaking.
The directors involved include Martin Scorsese (Killers of the Flower Moon), Christopher Nolan (Oppenheimer), Greta Gerwig (Barbie), Yorgos Lanthimos (Poor Things), and Alexander Payne (The Holdovers), and they have a fascinating conversation with a wide range of topics and they get into the details of the preparation and production of each of their films.
The event is nearly two-hours long and it was moderated by Jeremy Kagan. The conversation took place in February at the DGA’s Los Angeles Theater before Nolan took home the Best Director award at the Oscars.
