Watch Brendan Fraser and Adam Sandler Reunite and Have an Entertaining Conversation About AIRHEADS
Variety recently share a video that features Brendan Fraser sitting down with Adam Sandler to talk about the 1994 comedy Airheads, in which they starred together. This is an awesome little reunion and it’s so much fun listening to them talk about this movie and their experiences on it together.
Airheads followed three aspiring rock musicians, Chazz (Fraser), Pip (Sandler) and Rex (Steve Buscemi), and they “are determined to have their band's demo tape played on the air. Out of desperation, they sneak into a Los Angeles radio station, but when the manager, Milo (Michael McKean), meets them with hostility, they resort to threatening him with realistic-looking water pistols. Soon the situation escalates, and the none-too-bright rockers get in over their heads.”
I was a young teenager when this movie cam out, so of course I loved it! It was just good silly fun. Before this movie, the only other film that Fraser starred in was Encino Man, and Pauly Shore didn’t want him to do Airheads just in case an Encino Man sequel happened.
When talking about Fraser’s latest role as a 600-pound English teacher in Darren Aronofsky’s The Whale, Sandler said, “You Crushed Me” and that the movie “made me cry a lot because you’re my buddy.”
It’s a wonderful and entertaining conversation that is a must-watch if you’re a fan of these two actors! Watch it below
