Watch: CBS's RUSH HOUR TV Reboot Looks Utterly Abysmal

CBS has released the first trailer for its small screen reboot of Rush Hour, the mismatched buddy cop franchise directed by Brett Ratner. As much as we all like to crap on Ratner's directorial efforts, I'll admit to enjoying the first two Rush Hour movies when they came out (I never saw the third one). But this TV adaptation looks awful in every aspect, from what looks to be bad casting, to cheap-looking special effects, to a terrible job of recycling jokes and situations from the first film.

"The booty has been noted"? Are they serious with this? Wow. You know what this means, don't you? It's probably going to become the most-watched show on TV and it'll run for like ten seasons. They should have stuck with the fake Rush Hour 4 Face/Off 2 concept instead.

Rush Hour premieres on CBS on March 31st.
