Watch Chris Pratt Meet the Lifelike Dummy Version of Himself on Set of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3

Director James Gunn has released a cool behind the scenes video on his Twitter account giving fans a look at what it was like for actor Chris Pratt to see the lifelike dummy version of himself from the film for the first time. This was used in a scene we first saw in the trailer for the film, in which the Guardians are walking together, and the character Nebula, played by Karen Gillan, is carrying Peter Quill’s limp body.

This was achieved by the special effects team doing a body scan of the actor, and creating this 35-pound dummy, true to Pratt’s proportions. In the video, Gillan is able to carry it for the first time, and Pratt is heard saying, “Have you ever had an out of body experience? This is what it would feel like.” No kidding! It looks so real, it must have felt really weird to watch.

Check out the video below, and enjoy. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is currently in theaters everywhere.
