Watch Composer Ludwig Göransson Perform THE MANDALORIAN Theme in Awesome Music Video

We’ve got an awesome video for you to check out of composer Ludwig Göransson performing his theme for the Star Wars series The Mandalorian. It’s such a cool, western-style song, and it’s incredible to watch him perform each instrument with the show’s backdrop and effects surrounding him.

The series creator, Jon Favreau, and executive producer Dave Filoni hired Göransson to score the series, and explained that they weren’t looking for a theme that would recreate the classic John Williams music from the Star Wars films, but hoped for something more inspired by the likes of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, composed by Ennio Morricone, as well as the various scores from the films of Akira Kurosawa, as we learned in the documentary series Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, on Disney+.
