David Fincher is one of my favorite directors. Every interview, behind the scenes, or "making of" that I watch with him just really makes me respect him more. In September, he did an interview with BAFTA/Guru for their "A Life in Pictures" series. Fincher relates how he started, how he became such a technician in the craft of film, fun stories about the movies he's made, and how he works with actors.
