Watch Director David Fincher's Anheuser-Busch Super Bowl Commercial Scored By Atticus Ross
David Fincher started his career by directing commercials and music videos, and he’s gone back to his roots with a Super Bowl ad that he directed for Anheuser-Busch. In fact, this is the beer brand’s first-ever Super Bowl commercial.
While Fincher is known for playing in the dark side in projects that he takes on, this commercial is quite charming. While the commercial does deal with people who are dealing with setbacks in their lives, the way is plays out is very sweet and sentimental.
The commercial also features music that was scored by Atticus Ross, who has co-scored several of Fincher’s movies along with Trent Reznor.
When we say “Let’s grab a beer”, it’s never just about the beer. It's always about life's most meaningful moments – big and small – that happen when we come together over a beer.
