Watch ILM’s STAR WARS: ROGUE ONE Crew React to Fan Reactions to the Trailer

The creative team of Industrial Light & Magic that worked on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story gathered together recently and posted a fun reaction video of themselves watching the reaction videos of fans watching the first trailer of the film. The video is called "Rogue One ILM Chain Reaction," and it’s so cool to see the artists' reactions to fans who are extremely enthusiastic and excited about this upcoming film. Some of the team are even brought to tears as they watch these reactions unfold. 

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is going to be a special film, and I couldn’t be more excited to see it when it’s released in theaters on December 16th, 2016. The movie is being directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla), and the cast includes Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Alan Tudyk, Mads Mikkelsen, Forest Whitaker, and Riz Ahmed.

At ILM we know how awesome Star Wars fans are but when John Knoll saw all of the incredible fan reaction videos to the Rogue One trailer he felt he had to share them with the crew. So what did we do? We made our own reaction video to the reaction videos of course.
