Kevin Feige Officially Introduces Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop in HAWKEYE Teaser
A video has surfaced from Marvel’s recent epic presentation, and it features Kevin Feige officially introducing Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop in the Disney+ Hawkeye series. He shows off a little teaser the features a snippet of footage.
In addition, Jeremy Renner and Steinfeld both officially confirmed the announcement on Twitter along with a couple of set photos that features Clint Barton passing an arrow to Kate Bishop.
There aren’t any concrete story details to share for the series, but it’s said to draw from Matt Fraction and David Aja's acclaimed Hawkeye comic run.
It was previously announced that the series would also star Florence Pugh, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Alaqua Cox, and Zahn McClarnon.
Farmiga is playing Kate's mother Eleanor; Pugh will reprise her role as Yelena Belova; Fee is Kazi, short for Kazimierz Kazimierczak, a.k.a. Clown; Dalton is Duquesne a.k.a. Swordsman; and Cox is Echo with McClarnon playing her father William Lopez.
Troop Zero directors Bert and Bertie, a.k.a. Amber Finlayson (Bert) and Katie Ellwood (Bertie), and Saturday Night Live and Comrade Detective director Rhys Thomas have been hired to helm some episodes of the upcoming Disney+ Hawkeye series.
