Watch: Movie Scenes at NYC's Grand Central Station Stitched Together in Google Earth

This is awesome. YouTuber Eclectic Method, who regularly produces great movie and TV remixes that we write about on the site all the time, has expanded his scope a bit for his latest video. I'll let him explain in his own words:

I took scenes from movies featuring the south side of Grand Central on 5th Avenue and mapped them to their positions in google earth and then tried to link all the scenes together. This is what I'd love out of an augmented reality version of Google Earth. Walk around a city and walk past windows into movie worlds filmed from the locations around where your device is pointing.

That augmented reality thing sounds fantastic. I'm always wandering around looking for places where movies were shot, and if there were a program or an app that showed clips in real time where things were filmed, that would be incredible. What do you think? Anyway, take a look at this Grand Central Station video:

I took a bunch of scenes of the south side of Grand Central from movies like The Avengers, Gremlins 2 and Men in Black and mapped them onto their corresponding positions on Google Earth in 3D.
