Watch Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca Talking To Harrison Ford in English While Shooting THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK
A behind-the-scenes video from Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back has surfaced and it features actor Peter Mayhew shooting a scene as Chewbacca with Harrison Ford. What makes this video so cool is the fact that we get to see and hear Mathew speaking to Ford in English in order to give Ford context for the dialogue that he is delivering.
As I’m sure you know by now, Mayhew passed away last month on April 30, 2019 at his home in Texas. I just thought I’d share this as a way to pay tribute to the actor and the work that he did in the film.
