Watch Rami Malek Go Full Freddie Mercury in Footage from BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY

A fan-shot video popped up online showing Mr. Robot actor Rami Malek rocking out while shooting scenes for the new biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. In the video, you can see Malek recreating Queen's legendary Live Aid performance while portraying the late singer Freddie Mercury. We got our first look at the actor in the role last week.

In the video, Malek takes the stage just like Wembley Stadium in 1985. Malek shows some very Freddie Mercury-esque dance moves before taking a seat at the piano.

Malek announced the role last November. Several actors and directors came and left the biopic over the last few years.  At one point Sacha Baron Cohen was cast as Mercury but dropped out over disagreements on how the film would cover the more obscene details of the Queen singer's life. New life was breathed into the project when actor Ben Winshaw and director Dexter Fletcher came on board, but that also fell apart due to creative differences.

Bohemian Rhapsody will cover Queen's rise from the 1970s through Live Aid, six years before Mercury died of complications from AIDS. The film is expected to open December 25th, 2018.
