Watch RICK & MORTY's New Halloween Anime Special THE GREAT YOKAI OF AKIHABARA
Adult Swim has released the new Rick & Morty Halloween anime special The Great Yokai of Akihabar. In the story, Rick’s toaster is broken, and he and Morty embark on a journey to Akihabara, Japan to find the perfect screw. Along the way, the find themselves battling an old rival.
I enjoyed the fun spooky edge that the anime short has, and it’s a great way to help celebrate the Halloween season. There’s also a giant robot battle with a giant creature. Ya gotta love the insane adventures that Rick and Morty find themselves in!
The short was directed by Masaru Matsumoto and produced by Sola Entertainment. This is a lot of fun, and I hope you enjoy!
