Watch: Ricky Gervais and Eric Bana Star in Netflix's New Movie SPECIAL CORRESPONDENTS
For a stretch in the mid-2000s, it seemed like Eric Bana was only going to be in action movies and dramas, but he's proven to have some decent comedy chops as well. Now he's teaming with comedian Ricky Gervais for a Netflix original movie called Special Correspondents, in which the duo play NYC radio broadcasters who pretend to be reporting from Ecuador. When their cover is almost blown, they end up having to actually go there and really get into the action they've tried so hard to avoid. It doesn't look brilliant, but it might be a fun way to kill a couple of hours. (I'm not crazy about the way this trailer depicts America Ferrera's character, but hopefully she'll have more to do in the actual film.)
Special Correspondents arrives on Netflix on April 29th.
