Watch Some Badass Motorball Action in Clip from ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL!

Update: Unfortunately Fox has removed the video from YouTube and I can’t find a working version of it. It was pretty awesome, though!

A new international clip has been released for Alita: Battle Angel, and while I have no idea what is being said in the trailer because it’s in Italian, it seriously packs an awesome punch!

The scene focuses on Alita going up against a bunch of cyborgs in a brutal game of Motorball. A lot of these other cyborgs are out to destroy her, but she ends up kicking some serious ass as she destroys one cyborg after another.

The scene definitely highlights the kind of the wicked cool action sequences that we’ll be seeing in the Robert Rodriguez-directed movie. I’m crazy excited about this movie, but it’s one of those movies that some people think is going to bomb at the box office. I really hope that’s not the case.

If it ends up being a great film, I really hope audiences show up to watch it and it succeeds. Watch the new clip now and let us know!

Here’s the film’s official synopsis:

From visionary filmmakers James Cameron (AVATAR) and Robert Rodriguez (SIN CITY), comes ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL, an epic adventure of hope and empowerment. When Alita (Rosa Salazar) awakens with no memory of who she is in a future world she does not recognize, she is taken in by Ido (Christoph Waltz), a compassionate doctor who realizes that somewhere in this abandoned cyborg shell is the heart and soul of a young woman with an extraordinary past. As Alita learns to navigate her new life and the treacherous streets of Iron City, Ido tries to shield her from her mysterious history while her street-smart new friend Hugo (Keean Johnson) offers instead to help trigger her memories. But it is only when the deadly and corrupt forces that run the city come after Alita that she discovers a clue to her past – she has unique fighting abilities that those in power will stop at nothing to control. If she can stay out of their grasp, she could be the key to saving her friends, her family and the world she’s grown to love.

Alita: Battle Angel hits theaters on February 14, 2019.
