Watch Some Great OSCAR Night Musical Highlights
For the most part, I enjoyed last night's 87th Academy Awards. Neil Patrick Harris did a great job hosting, and he opened up the ceremony with an extremely cool opening musical number. It was a great start to an awards show that had some fun moments scattered throughout. Some of my other favorite parts of the show included The LEGO Movie's "Everything was Awesome" which was performed by Tegan & Sara and The Lonely Island; John Legend and Common's amazing performance for Selma; and Lady Gaga's surprisingly stellar tribute to The Sound of Music for its 50th anniversary. I also included the "In Memoriam" section that takes a look back at the Hollywood talent who passed away last year, although for some reason Joan Rivers was left out of it.
If you want to watch several other highlights from the show, including any of the speeches from the award winners, head over to the official Oscars site. What did you think of the Oscar ceremony?
