Watch: SOUTH PARK Season 20 Trailer From Comic-Con
It's insane to think that South Park has been around for nineteen seasons now, but the show has been a cultural touchstone for nearly that entire time. The craziest part about the whole thing, though, is that after all this time, it's still consistently great. It's better now than it's ever been, and there's a legitimate case to be made to rank it among the best comedies in television history.
In honor of the show's upcoming 20th season, Comedy Central released a new logo (above) and a trailer for the new season that's a riff on those car commercials that celebrate a vehicle's longevity as it's passed down from one generation to the next. It's an extremely abbreviated version of some of the show's most outrageous moments, and a good reminder of why they've been relevant for so long.
