Watch Teens And Parents Watch 13 REASONS WHY And Discuss Their Feelings
Ever since its debut, 13 Reasons Why has created a controversy in pop culture with people on both sides of the topic arguing. It wasn't one of the best things I watched in 2017, but I enjoyed it for what it was...a teen drama. I didn't pull some deeper message out of the situation, but then again I've never experienced something like that so I have nothing to compare it to. While you may not agree with everyone's opinion on the show, I think it's good that a dialogue is being created about suicide and depression. Netflix attempts to showcase that element with a video in which teens and parents watch the show separately and then share their thoughts on the show. Has anyone similar had these types of discussions with someone younger after watching 13 Reasons Why?
