Watch Terry Gilliam’s 1968 Directorial Debut STORYTIME
I’ve been a fan of Terry Gillian and the rest of the Monty Python comedy team since I was a kid. I was introduced to them by my parents with the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, which I still thoroughly enjoy watching to this day. I later started watching their Flying Circus series, which is just brilliantly made comedy. It has been fun to follow the careers of the comedy troupe, and Gilliam has made a lot of amazing and adventurous films over the years.
Like all directors, Gilliam had to get his start somewhere, and in 1968 he made his directorial debut with a short film that he called Storyline. As you’ll see, it features a lot of the same great human and silly animation that has become a staple of the the Monty Python greatness. I hope you enjoy the film!
