Watch THE BOYS Short Film Which Focuses on What Happened to Billy Butcher
After the Season 2 premiere of The Boys on Amazon, a lot of fans were wondering what happened to Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher as there was a noticeable gap in his story. Well, thanks to a new short film that was released, the details of that gap have been revealed! It shows us what Butcher was doing while he was in hiding.
After the murder of Vought Vice President Madelyn Stillwell (Elisabeth Shue) is pinned on Butcher he goes on the run from the law. He ends up at the house of an old army contact, to ask for help tracking down his wife Becca (Shantel VanSanten). While his friend welcomes him in and seems nice, things end up taking a violent turn.
According to showrunner Eric Kripke, the footage used to make the short are flashback scenes that were cut from the first episode due to pacing issues. They also added some additional footage. Check it out below and then watch The Boys Season 2 episode two, which was released today.
