Watch the Fantastic and Fun GHOSTBUSTERS Reunion on Josh Gad's REUNITED APART!

The original cast of the 1984 film Ghostbusters reunited virtually recently for Josh Gad on his super fun Reunited Apart web series! The full episode of that has been released online, and it’s incredibly entertaining! As a longtime fan of Ghostbusters, I loved this, and I think you will as well.

Dan AykroydBill MurrayErnie HudsonSigourney WeaverAnnie Potts, and even William Atherton all showed up. They were also joined by director Ivan Reitman, and his son and director of the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Jason Reitman.

It’s great listening to everyone reminisce and share stories on this classic movie. Murray shared the story of the time he realized that Ghostbusters was going to be a big deal, saying:

“Ivan asked us out at Thanksgiving and showed us the early cut of the ballroom scene. The first catching the slimmer scene. Remember this? Danny? Sigourney? Anybody remember this? Jason? [They do not.]… but he showed us those scenes without all the special effects done in it. From that moment on, I remember going back to work on Monday and going, ‘Guys, let’s all calm down. It’s going to be really big.”

When talking about the upcoming film, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Murray said that it will spark the same magic that the original film did. When talking about the script he said:

The script is good. It’s got lots of emotion in it. It’s got lots of family in it, with through lines that are really interesting. It’s gonna work.

There are also a few other surprise guests that pop up in the reunion including the two students of Venkman at the beginning of the film, Jennifer Runyon and Steven TashMichael Ensign, the hotel manager, and Timothy Carhart as Dana Barrett’s orchestra colleague. There’s also a little musical number from Ray Parker Jr. at the end.

Enjoy the video!
