Watch The First 9-Minutes of RESIDENT EVIL: WELCOME TO RACCOON CITY
I don’t know many people that have gone out and watched Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City. I thought the film was a fun B-horror movie that stuck close to what the first two games in the franchise delivered. I enjoyed aspects of it, but I will admit I was hoping for something a little better. I can definitely understand why some people don’t like it.
Anyway, if you haven’t seen the movie yet, Sony Pictures has released the first nine minutes of the film that you can watch online. This is obviously an attempt to to get people to rent the movie and watch it, because the film opened up in theaters back in September.
I can’t guarantee you’re going to like this movie. But, who knows, with such low expectations, maybe you’ll like it more than you thought you would. But, then there’s always the chance that it will be worse than you thought it would be! That’s the gamble!
In Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, “once the booming home of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation, Raccoon City is now a dying Midwestern town. The company’s exodus left the city a wasteland…with great evil brewing below the surface. When that evil is unleashed, a group of survivors must work together to uncover the truth behind Umbrella and contain the danger, while trying to make it through the night.”
The movie was directed by Johannes Roberts (Alice, Hellbreeder, Darkhunters,) and it stars Kaya Scodelario, Hannah John-Kamen, Robbie Amell, Tom Hopper, Avan Jogia, with Donal Logue and Neal McDonough. You can currently rent it on VOD.
