Watch the Crazy First Three Minutes of THE BOYS Season 2 Featuring Black Noir in Action
Amazon Prime has shared a new clip from The Boys Season 2, and it features the first three minutes of the new season. The opening scene mostly focuses on the character Black Noir in action as he brutally kills a few people. It’s a great start to what looks to be an incredibly fun new season!
The cast of the series includes Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hugh Campbell, Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk, Tomer Capon as Frenchie, Karen Fkuhara as Kimiko, Jennifer Esposito as CIA agent Susan L. Rayner, Elisabeth Shue, Erin Moriarty, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Nathan Mitchell, and Aya Cash as Stormfront.
Here’s the synopsis for Season 2:
The Boys are on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon), and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social-media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.
The Boys co-creator Eric Kripke (Supernatural) talked about Season 2, saying it’s “crazier, stranger, more intense, more emotional. In fact, it’s too much, so the Surgeon General has insisted we air the first three episodes on September 4, then air the remaining five episodes weekly after that. We wanted to give you time to freak out, digest, discuss, come down from the high before we give you another dose.”
The Boys is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It’s the powerless against the super powerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about the supergroup known as “The Seven.”
The series is produced by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen. The Boys Season 2 will premiere on September 4th!
