Watch the First Episode of STAR TREK: PICARD for Free on YouTube for a Limited Time

For those of you who haven’t subscribed to CBS All Access yet and aren’t able to watch Star Trek: Picard, the streaming service has shared the first episode of the series on YouTube to watch for free for a limited time!

They obviously hope that you like what you see from this first episode so that you sign up for their service to watch the rest. So far, I love what I’ve seen from the series, and I’m excited to see how the rest of the story plays out!

Here’s the synopsis:

At the end of the 24th Century, and 14 years after his retirement from Starfleet, Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) is living a quiet life on his vineyard, Chateau Picard. When he is sought out by a mysterious young woman, Dahj (Isa Briones), in need of his help, he soon realizes she may have personal connections to his own past.

The series will also feature the return of Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard, Star Trek: Voyager’s Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine, Jonathan Frakes as Will Riker from Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Brent Spiner as Data.

They will be joined by Santiago Cabrera as Cristobal “Chris” Rios, Michelle Hurd as Raffi Musiker, Alison Pill as Dr. Agnes Jurati, Harry Treadaway as Narek, and Evan Evagora as Elnor.

Alex Kurtzman, Michael Chabon, Akiva Goldsman and Heather Kadin are executive producing the series.
