Watch the First Five Disastrous Minutes of Director Roland Emmerich's MOONFALL
Director Roland Emmerich is back with another disaster movie that focuses on the destruction of the world, but this one is different because it involves the Moon and the secrets that the government have been hiding in the Moon.
Today we have the first five minutes of the film for you to watch, and it shows us the beginning of how everything goes to shit in the story. Astronaut Brian Harper (Patrick Wilson) is out on a spacewalk fixing some satellite stuff and talking about the lyrics to Toto's rock classic "Africa" with his co-worker Alan Marcus (Frank Fiola) and his fellow astronaut Jo Fowler (Halle Berry), when all of a sudden a mysterious, black space wave comes tearing through the shuttle, and it came from the moon.
In Moonfall, we see the moon on a crash course with Earth. It’s explained that “a mysterious force knocks the Moon from its orbit around Earth and sends it hurtling on a collision course with life as we know it.” In the story “with mere weeks before impact and the world on the brink of annihilation, NASA executive and former astronaut Jo Fowler (Berry) is convinced she has the key to saving us all – but only one astronaut from her past, Brian Harper (Wilson) and a conspiracy theorist K.C. Houseman (Bradley) believes her. These unlikely heroes will mount an impossible last-ditch mission into space, leaving behind everyone they love, only to find out that our Moon is not what we think it is.”
If you’re interested in watching Moonfall, the movie hits theaters on February 4th, 2022. Check out the first five minutes and let us know what you think!
