Watch the Full Daily Bugle News Report From SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME's Mid-Credits Scene

This summer’s Marvel hit Spider-Man: Far From Home was a fun time at the theater. We were all still recovering from the events of Avengers: Endgame, which they thoroughly addressed in the film, but they were able to give us a bit of humor and a bit of Peter Parker (Tom Holland) awkwardness to raise our spirits.

The film saw Peter travel to Europe with his schoolmates, where despite his best efforts, he had to step in to protect the cities he was visiting from an evil force at work. As it turned out, Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), who showed up under the guise of helping Peter defeat the bad guy, ended up being the bad guy after all. This didn’t come as a huge shock to the fans who knew the character, but it was executed in a fun way and ended with Parker killing Mysterio in order to save himself.

While this was awesome but not jaw-dropping, the mid-credits scene was the real clencher! Up popped J. Jonah Jameson, played by the awesome J.K. Simmons, who reprised his role from the original Spider-Man movies. He was broadcasting right there in Times Square, with Mysterio’s footage from his showdown with Spidey, wherein Peter’s identity is not only revealed, but he is portrayed in a very negative light, and is now thought of as a bad guy.

It’s crazy! And today we have the entire news broadcast for you to check out and enjoy, as some of it was obscured in the scene. Check it out below, and let us know what you think life will be like for Peter Parker in the next film.
