An all-star cast of actors recently got together for a table read of the classic coming-of-age high school comedy Fast Times at Ridgemont High. The full video of that has now been released online for everyone to enjoy.
The cast that they brought together perform the script includes Jennifer Aniston as Linda, Brad Pitt as Brad, Julia Roberts as Stacy, Matthew McConaughey as Mike, Dane Cook as Mark (and the table read’s host), Shia LaBeouf as Spicoli, Henry Golding as Mr. Vargas, John Legend as Charles Jefferson and Little Charles Jefferson, Ray Liotta as Mr. Hand,Jimmy Kimmel played some teenage girls and other random characters, and Morgan Freeman was the narrator.
Sean Penn, Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti, the film’s director Amy Heckerling, and screenwriter Cameron Crowe also make appearances in the video.
It actually turned out to be incredibly entertaining. It’s fun to see Pitt and Aniston have some fun with their characters together, but it was LaBeouf who pretty much stole the show.
The whole point of the project was to help raise money for CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort), which is a nonprofit charity co-founded by Sean Penn. Enjoy the live read below!
