Watch the GAME OF THRONES Cast React To Jon And Daenerys’ Steamy Moment

We have finally wrapped up the 7th season of Game of Thrones this past Sunday and it was without a doubt a season finale to remember. There were many memorable scenes, but one, in particular, stands out to everyone: the long-awaited love scene between Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). I'm sure you had a lot to say to friends and family members about it, and now the cast is sharing their reactions to this taboo scene where, as Harington puts it, “fall into bed together.”

The unsettling part about this whole "union of fire and ice" is the fact that unbeknownst to Jon and Danenerys they are related. The cast is certainly aware of that. In the behind the scenes commentary in the video below, Harington and Clarke joke about how they reacted in between takes about the love scene, but at the same time, they see how it moves the story forward.

Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who plays the 3-eyed raven Bran that revealed Jon’s genetic history, said that this scene may be an indication of what’s to come in the series.

“Just when everything was coming together — just when everyone was going to join together to fight, inevitably Game of Thrones will tear us apart once more.”

Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion, is aware of the consequences but still recognizes some good in this union.

“It’s dangerous for everybody involved. I’m sure it’s good for both of them in the moment — but you don’t even get the relief of how beautiful it should be. There’s a history of romance not ending well on this show.”

This isn't the first time we've seen relative-on-relative relations in GoT, the Lannisters seem to be just fine with incest, so this more innocent union of aunt and nephew is a bit shocking, its also a lot less upsetting.

The cast discusses Jon and Daenerys' connection. Game of Thrones airs on HBO on Sundays at 9.
