Watch The Hilarious Lengthy Trailer For FAMILY GUY Season 17
FOX has released the hilarious Comic-Con reel for Family Guy Season 17 that was screened at the convention over the weekend. The promo video is almost five minutes long and it's filled with several hilarious skits and jokes that are sure to make fans laugh. This show still manages to still deliver the crazy funny humor!
The trailer pokes fun at Kanye West, caping, Netflix specials, singing grapes, and a funny joke about Seth MacFarlane's other Fox series, The Orville.
Family Guy Co-Showrunners Rich Appel and Alec Sulkin recently talked to Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming season and said that one episode this season will parody President Donald Trump. In the episode, "President Trump discovers that Peter is an expert seller of fake news. He hires Peter as his new Communications Director, and the Griffins move to Washington, D.C. When Meg has an 'unpleasant encounter' with POTUS, though, relations between Trump and Peter fracture, leading to 'an epic battle' between the two men." The showrunners said:
“Although this episode was written almost a year ago, fortunately Trump has done nothing since then to embarrass himself or our nation."
The new season will also feature a tribute to Mayor Adam West, after the actor passed away last year at 88. It's revealed that Quahog high school will be renamed Adam West High. Later, Brian and Quagmire will run against each other to replace West.
Family Guy's 17th season debuts on Fox on Sunday, September 30th.
