Watch THE MANDALORIAN Kick Some Ass in First Clip From The Disney+ STAR WARS Series

While we all wait for Disney+ to launch in a few hours where we will finally be able to watch the first episode of Lucasfilm and Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian, we have a clip for you to check out! The clip features The Mandalorian walking into cantina where he proceeds to kick some ass when he’s pushed to his limit.

It’s a great scene that highlights how much the show is inspired by the western genre. As a fan of westerns, that’s one of the main things I love about what I’ve seen from the series so far. This is a straight-up Star Wars western! I don’t think this show is going to disappoint the fans. Enjoy the clip!

The series is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order and follows “a lone Mandalorian gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy.” Here’s the synopsis:

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

The series stars Pedro Pascal (Narcos) as the title character, Gina Carano (Deadpool) as Cara Dune, Carl Weathers (Predator) as Greef Carga, Omid Abtahi (American Gods) as Dr. Pershing, Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man), as well as Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, and Emily Swallow.

Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) is directing the first episode and serving as executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Additional directors include Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates), and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok). 

The series is set to premiere on Disney+ on November 12th.
