Watch The Original Twin Tower Teaser Trailer For Sam Raimi's SPIDER-MAN in Glorious HD
You may or may not remember this, but back in 2001 a teaser trailer for Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man was released in theaters giving fans their first look at what this version of Spider-Man would be like, and it was awesome! The trailer prominently featured the Twin Towers in New York City.
Not long after the trailer was released, the terrorist attacks on 9/11 happened and the towers collapsed. The studio quickly yanked the trailer out of theaters so that no one would be offended by it along with the poster below, which shows the reflection of the Twin Towers in Spidey’s eyes.
Since then we’ve seen poor quality versions of the teaser pop up on YouTube, but a version recently was uploaded that you can watch in 4K. This is the best quality version of the teaser that I’ve seen, and if you’ve never seen it before, you’re in for a real treat!
This is such a great teaser trailer! I remember how excited I was for this movie when I saw this teaser for the first time! I still love that first Spider-Man movie.
