You've got to watch this incredibly awesome hyper-violent red-band trailer for an upcoming sci-fi thriller called Upgrade! The movie stars Logan Marshall-Green (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Prometheus) as a man, who after a terrible accident, is offered an experimental cure to his ailments that upgrade his body into a complete ass-kicking machine! This movie seriously looks badass and it looks like Marshall-Green gives a great and fun performance! Watch the trailer below and experience it for yourself! The movie comes from Leigh Whannell, the writer of Saw and creator of the Insidious franchise and it's being produced by Blumhouse Pictures. Here's the synopsis:
After his wife is killed during a brutal mugging that also leaves him paralyzed, Grey Trace (Logan Marshall Green, SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING, PROMETHEUS) is approached by a billionaire inventor with an experimental cure that will “upgrade” his body. The cure – an Artificial Intelligence implant called STEM – gives Grey physical abilities beyond anything experienced and the ability to relentlessly claim vengeance against those who murdered his wife and left him for dead.
