Watch The Spooky Fun Title Sequence For CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina looks to have some potential when it premieres on Netflix on October 25, 2018. Now the opening sequence has been released online, and it is really going with the comic roots.
It’s a cool opening, and I’m just shocked at how long it is. Most opening sequences these days are as short as possible, but this one goes on for a minute and a half. Granted, Netflix typically lets you skip the intro, but it’s still an interesting move.
“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina imagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft. Tonally in the vein of Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist, this adaptation finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature — half-witch, half-mortal — while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.”
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will star Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina alongside Lucy Davis, Tati Gabrielle, Michelle Gomez, Ross Lynch, Miranda Otto, Bronson Pinchot, and Jaz Sinclair.
