Watch This Clip from the YU YU HAKUSHO OVA TWO SHOTS
Yu Yu Hakusho is making a return to the spotlight for its 25th anniversary. One of the ways it is doing this is by releasing a brand spanking new OVA called Two Shots that shows how Hiei and Kurama meet. Now, thanks to the magic of the Internet, we can watch part of their initial meeting as a minute-long clip has surfaced.
According to CB, here’s what the clip is about:
“The clip sees Hiei challenge Kurama to a battle as the latter escorts a classmate of his named Maya through town. The girl has a massive crush on Kurama, and she is made privy to his spiritual heritage thanks to her own supernatural gifts. However, Hiei is quick to call Kurama on the attachment, and their fight leaves Maya behind to be abducted by a demon known as the Hedoki.”
Those of us in the U.S. who don’t pirate have a long time to go before we’re able to watch the new OVAs. Hopefully we’ll hear about Funimation or another company bringing them stateside.
