Watch This STEAMBOAT WILLIE Inspired Horror Short Film THE VANISHING OF S.S. WILLIE

With Walt Disney’s first Mickey Mouse project, Steamboat Willie, now in the public domain, we are already starting to see low-budget films and video game projects based on that version of the character. It’s ridiculous! Mickey Mouse deserves better than these shit horror projects.

We have a Steamboat Willie-inspired short film for you to watch today titled The Vanishing of S.S. Willie, and this is the first horror film to be released that takes advantage of Steamboat Willie‘s public domain status.

The Vanishing of S.S. Willie comes from Night Signal Entertainment. The short is a silent film that’s presented as a long-lost documentary from 1928, one that details the disappearance of a commercial steamship, The S.S. Willie. It’s a twisted little story.

It starts off with the following: “Before it could premiere, a fire broke out in the studio, destroying the only known prints of the film. Until now, it was considered lost history.”

The Vanishing of S.S. Willie was directed and written by Nick Lives. Watch it below and tell us what you think.
