Is there a single person who has done more for the film industry in the past few years than Megan Ellison? I don't think so. The 28-year-old founder of Annapurna Pictures has produced some of the best movies of the decade so far, and she's become a beacon of light in an often-depressing cinematic landscape: she actually seems to value and cherish the opinions and talent of auteurs ranging from Paul Thomas Anderson to Spike Jonze, Kathryn Bigelow to David O. Russell, and more. The Playlist points us to this excellent supercut featuring many of the movies she's ushered to the big screen in the past three years, including Her, Zero Dark Thirty, Lawless, American Hustle, and The Master, just to name a few.
