The filmmaker helmed an animated music video for for Jarvis Cocker's musical track "Aline," which is featured on the soundtrack of the film. That track was written by Daniel Georges and Jacq Bevilacqua.
This is a fun music video that is 100% the style of Wes Anderson, and I loved it. The illustration style of the music video was created by Javi Aznarez, and it introduces us to all of the characters that play a role in the story.
The movie brings to life several stories in an edition of an American magazine published in a fictional 20th-century French city. It’s explained that the hero of every story told is a writer.
The movie stars Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Frances McDormand, Adrien Brody, Jeffrey Wright, Benicio del Toro, Timothée Chalamet, Elisabeth Moss, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe, Saoirse Ronan, Christophe Waltz, Jason Schwartzman, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, and Léa Seydoux.
