Watch Venom Chomp Down on Someone's Head in New VENOM Promo and Multiple Post Credits Scenes Confirmed
We’ve got a couple new promo videos to share with you for Venom today along with some post credits scene news. Just in case you were wondering, CB has confirmed that there will be two post credits scenes in the film. There are no details on what those scenes will entail, but now you know to stay in your seats after the credits start to roll.
As for the promos, the first one is a featurette that mainly focuses on the Ducati motorcycle that Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) will be driving around on in the film. But, it also includes a clip of Venom chomping off the head of a gunman. A lot of fans have been wondering how this head eating will be pulled off in a PG-13 way, and this gives you a little taste of that. When previously talking about the PG-13 rating and Venom eating heads, producer Avi Arad said:
"To me, R is not a consideration. Can you get away with not R so that other people can see? So that younger people can see? I made an animated show. There was a lot of Venom in there. It was in '94. There's no reason to put in violence. To define what Venom is as violence. He's not. He's the lethal protector, which is a very different thing. We want to be really true to the comics.
"Today, in CGI and stuff, we can make Venom bite your head. But we don't have to show the head going side to side like, 'that actually tastes good.' It's irrelevant. What's relevant is that you finally understood, is that a bad guy? Yeah."
So, apparently, they never even considered giving Venom an R-rating. Then there’s the second promo, which features more footage of Venom and the villain Riot in the heat of battle. You can check those out below!
