Marvel's Jessica Jones has received almost universal acclaim from critics and fans alike, and though I still haven't had time to catch up with it myself, the overwhelming majority of people I've spoken to about it absolutely love the show. It's on my list of things to watch, but if you watch a ton of TV, you can probably empathize with me as to why I haven't had time to see it yet: there's just too much out there already, and much more on the way.

Jessica Jones is the newest installment in Marvel's Defenders series, following on from the hugely successful first season of Daredevil. Staying put in New York City's dark and dangerous Hell's Kitchen, Jessica Jones is a hard-boiled noir with a heroine who possesses superhuman strength and detective skills to boot.
