Batman fans of any age can agree that Batman: The Animated Series is one of the most seminal cartoons and coolest explorations of the character ever. The show was hugely influential for me growing up, and I'm still amazed we saw animation and storytelling that was so high quality among some of the other junk that was on TV at the time.

KaptainKristian's new video essay argues that Batman: The Animated Series contains "the quintessential portrayal of The Dark Knight," including elements from practically every incarnation of the character that had appeared until that time and forming its own unique version of Batman.
