WB Looking to Cast a Young Neo in MATRIX 4 and a Actress of Color as Catwoman in THE BATMAN
Some new casting information has surfaced for a couple of high-profile film projects in development at Warner Bros. Those projects include Lana Wachowski’s The Matrix 4 and Matt Reeves’ The Batman.
According to a new report, the studio is look to cast an actor to play a young version of Keanu Reeves’s character, Neo. There’s no word on how young, but I imagine it’s beyond the point to where Reeves can’t be de-aged.
It was also previously reported that the studio was looking to cast a young version of Morpheus as well. So it seems like there’s going to some sort of look back into the pasts of Morpheus and Neo, which should be interesting.
As for The Batman, it’s being reported that they are looking to cast an actress of color to take on the role. This wouldn’t be the first time, as the character was previously played by Halle Berry in the 2004 Catwoman film.

As of right now we have no idea at which actors are being looked at for these roles. It’ll be interesting to see how they do end up casting, though.
