We Learn Emperor Palpatine's Final Orders in STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT II

We're still two months away from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but at the same time, we are only a little over a month away from the canon of the Star Wars universe expanding with a new story that fills the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.

Star Wars Battlefront II tells a canon story in the Star Wars universe from the perspective of an Imperial trooper, Iden Versio, who is tasked with carrying out the last orders of Emperor Palpatine. Orders that are evidently left behind in case of his death. Watch this new cinematic cut scene from Star Wars Battlefront II and see how Versio gets her orders from the Emperor following the destruction of the second Death Star.

The clip comes from the single-player campaign where the main character, Iden Versio is on a 30-year quest to avenge the Emperor. Even though Palpatine is dead, a droid displays a hologram of his face to deliver his final orders.

Star Wars: Battlefront II will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 17, 2017.
